Milind Sir’s Participation in World Plumbing Council’s Scholarship Program – A Discussion on Plumbing Systems for High-Rise Structures.
As part of the scholarship awarded to Milind Sir by the World Plumbing Council (WPC) for his study tour in China on Plumbing Systems for High-Rise Structures, a discussion session was held yesterday. Mr. Qin Yongxin, Executive Board Member of WPC and Deputy Secretary of the China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA), was invited to attend, accompanied by other senior officials from CCMSA, including:
- Ms Li Kai (Lily), Dep.Chair, Plumbing, CCMSA
- Ms Tan Qing
- Ms Gay Scene
- Mr. Ruan Sianglin, Chief Editor, Plumbing Division, CCMSA
During the session, they discussed key topics such as water supply systems, drainage systems, and rainwater harvesting systems, both at the individual building level and for city-wide infrastructure. The discussion was highly engaging and set a strong foundation for the rest of the study tour.
Milind Sir expressed his intention to apply the best practices and insights gained during the tour to benefit India's interests and progress. "From here on, I will try my best to imbibe whatever is best for our country's interest and progress," he said.
It is important to note that this prestigious scholarship from the World Plumbing Council is awarded to just one individual from among 196 developing and least-developed countries around the world.
